"AgTEC is an example of the creative, progressive environmental thinking that we desperately need in Martin County. For 20 years, Ive worked to protect wildlife and their wild places while educating people of all ages. Ive been out to Sunrise Grovesit is a dying citrus grove with little environmental value or habitat for wildlife. Yet King Ranch has created a campus that incorporates extensive environmental restoration, preservation and water quality improvements that are truly commendable. As I tell our kids during educational programs: growth and change will happen. We dont have a choice in that. Our choice comes in planning what kind of change its going to be."

Tim Brown, Director of Education at Treasure Coast Wildlife Center
